Skupnost šolskih sester v Št. Petru v Rožu že od leta 1908 deluje na vzgojnem področju.

Skozi desestletja so se vzgojne dejavnosti oblikovale in prilagajale potrebam družbe. Danes pod okriljem konventa delujejo otroški vrtec, Višja šola za gospodarske poklice in internat.
